The Renaissance Hall of Fame

March 26, 2012
Dear Prospective Inductee,
Congratulations! You are eligible to join the Renaissance Hall of Fame as part of the ninth class of inductees. This is a great honor because it means you meet many of the qualities desired in a Renaissance personality - you are educated, artistic, well-spoken, creative, and talented. You are among the very few who possess an energy to see that great changes permeate Europe.
As a finalist for induction, you must appear before a jury of your peers to explain why you believe you should be permitted to join. You will be required to give a 3-4 minute speech to the jury explaining why you represent the Renaissance spirit and should therefore be a member of this hallowed organization. Additionally, you must bring with you an example of your work - an authentic piece of art, a writing, an invention, etc. You will not be permitted to join the Hall of Fame without both of these important pieces.
Speeches will be presented to the panelists beginning on Tuesday, April 24 and continue over the days following. Everyone is required to be prepared for the first day regardless of whether or not they speak that day. Nominees will be called at random. During each day’s speeches, the judges will evaluate all candidates to decide who will become the next members of the Hall of Fame. Induction into the Renaissance Hall of Fame will occur on Friday, April 27, 2012.
Being a member of the Hall of Fame is a great honor that all who represent the Renaissance should strive to achieve. I wish you all the best of luck in this endeavor. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
Leonardo da Vinci
